Nensebo Highland Coffee Export, operating under the legal entity Nensebo Chebi Trading PLC, was founded in 2021 by Ibrahim Bukato, a third-generation coffee producer from Ethiopia’s renowned coffee heartland. Driven by heritage, passion, and quality, our company is committed to exporting the finest Ethiopian specialty coffee to the world.
Located in Nensebo district, part of the West Arsi Zone in Oromia Regional State, our coffee, growing areas include highland zones like Refisa, Gara Kogne Mountain, and border regions adjacent to Sidamo and Bale. For years, Nensebo coffee was classified under Sidamo, but the region has emerged with a unique identity marked by complex flavors, rich aroma, and exceptional cup quality — thanks to its fertile soils, ample rainfall, and proximity to the legendary Harena Forest
