🌾 Leqimti (Nekemte)
Leqimti — also known as Nekemte — is located in the East Wollega Zone of western Ethiopia, in the Oromia Region.
This highland area, rising between 1,700 and 2,200 meters above sea level, produces large, long-bean Arabica coffees known for their sweet, mild, and balanced cup profile.
Leqimti coffees are traditionally naturally processed (dry-processed), which enhances their fruity and wine-like notes, while washed varieties from newer cooperatives showcase a cleaner, brighter flavor.
